Outreach Ministries

Basement Sale ~ On Saturday, September 23rd, the Men’s Prayer Breakfast Group will be sponsoring a yard/basement sale starting at 9 a.m. till 1 p.m.  This will be a great opportunity to weed out unneeded but still useful items around your home and help out our Church at the same time.  Please drop off your donations at the Church and put them ONLY in the old basement (the youth room) starting the 27th of August and no later than the 17th of September.  Please no clothes, shoes, dirty items, or items that do not work. Lunch will also be available during the sale – thanks to the Guiding Light Circle.  We hope that this will once again be as successful as the last 11 years and continues to be an annual event to help support different funds for our Church.  If you need help in bringing your items to the Church or have any questions, please contact Pete at 225-9081 or the Church office.  Proceeds from this sale will be used towards future projects for our Church.

Hauling Hope  is a ministry that collects, stores, and delivers good usable furniture to those in need referred to us by the clearinghouse “Love INC.”  Our time to pick up/deliver items will be Saturday, September 30th.  If you are interested in helping with this ministry, please contact James Honey at 614-738-7125.

Free Coffee Service Ministry to the community.  Each Wednesday, from 6:30 – 9:00 a.m., free coffee will be provided compliments of PSUMC.  Volunteer for serving, baking cookies, and contributions will be most helpful.  If you would like to volunteer/help, please see Bill Bess or Richard Wallace.  Let’s all get together and support this new ministry.

Salvation Army Food Pantry collection will be Sunday, September 24th.  Suggested donations: prepared dinners.  Put your donations in the shopping cart in the back of the sanctuary.
