Life Line Screening

May is National Stroke Awareness Month ~A stroke occurs every 40 seconds and yet up to 80% of strokes can be prevented.  This is why Prospect Street United Methodist Church is hosting Life Line Screening, the nation’s leading provider of preventive health screenings Wednesday, May 19th. Three key tests check for blocked carotid arteries, an irregular heart rhythm called atrial fibrillation, and high blood pressure, which are the three leading risk factors for stroke.  Screening packages start at $139.
