Outreach Ministries

Neighborhood Supper will be held Friday, August 17th, at 5:15 p.m.  You are also encouraged to come in early to fellowship with the participants.  This month’s meal will be hot dog sandwiches, baked beans, macaroni salad, applesauce, cookies, and beverages.  The following items are needed:  hot dogs, hot dog buns, canned baked beans, macaroni,  Mayonnaise or Miracle Whip, applesauce, cookies, punch or punch mix, coffee, creamer, sugar, styrofoam 10 oz. cups, dinner plates, small bowls, napkins, and dish soap.  Please bring your donations to the kitchen by August 15th.  Thank you!


The personal care item we’ll offer diners at the Neighborhood Supper this month is toilet paper.  Please leave donations in the basket in the back of the sanctuary.


Salvation Army Food Pantry collection will be Sunday, August 26th.   Suggested donations: Items of your choice.  Put your donations in the shopping cart in the back of the sanctuary.


Laundry Love Ministry ~ Monday, August 27th, at 4:15 p.m.  at the Southland Cleaning Village, 355 S. Main Street in Marion.  We can always use more volunteers!

Marion Downtown Market ~ every Thursday from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Founders Park.  Again, we will be selling breads and noodles.  Labels and instructions are available on the table in the south alcove.  WE NEED HELP setting up at 3 p.m. and tearing down at 6:45 p.m. Questions? Collecting magazines for our troops. We will be collecting one month old men’s magazines of all kinds that are appropriate to send to our troops.  There will be baskets in the hall and the lobby to put your magazines in. We will be collecting them and sending them in small amounts to various troops in different locations abroad.
