Outreach Ministries

Neighborhood Supper will be Friday, December 16th, from 5 – 6 p.m. as a Carry-Out Meal.

We will collect for the Salvation Army Food Pantry on Sunday, December 18th.  Suggested donations: Items of your choice.  They are also in need of paper products and feminine products.  Put your donations in the shopping cart in the back of the sanctuary.  Thank you!

Laundry Love Ministry will be Monday, December 19th, at 4:30 p.m.  at the Southtown Cleaning Village, 355 S. Main Street in Marion.  If you would like to help, please contact the church office.

Free Community Breakfast will be held again on Saturday, December 24th, from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.  This community outreach is sponsored by the Men’s Prayer Breakfast group and the UWIF’s S.K.I. Group.  This breakfast is free and open to all (donations will be accepted).  This will be a wonderful opportunity to get involved and support this effort to reach out into our community and build relationships with our neighbors and be fulfilled in sharing the love and grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Come one, come all to help, support or just have breakfast and fellowship. If you have questions, please contact Bill Bess at 740-360-3965.  Hope to see you there.

Mitten Tree – It’s time to bring in mittens, gloves, socks, and scarves to place on the Christmas tree in the back of the sanctuary through December 4th.  The items will be taken to Leapin’ Outreach in December and given to those who are in need.  It may not be cold while you are reading this, but as we all know, winter comes and many children do not have mittens, gloves, socks, and scarves to keep them warm.  If you have any questions, please see Lucille Copus or Erika.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Food Drive ~ If you would like to continue supporting this mission, please drop off your donations in the kitchen. Then, they will be taken to their drop off location.

Magazines For Our Troops – If you would like to purchase a magazine subscription or you have a subscription you no longer want to receive, you can have the subscription sent directly to: Magazines for Troops, PO Box 909, Lakeside, MT 59922.  If you have any question, please call Lynne Baer or the church office.
